4th of July 2017 @ Moody Beach!
see ya Middle School, hello High School!!

congrats on graduating from 8th grade Ben! Proud of you. Can’t believe you’ll be in high school in September. how did time go by that fast? it’s crazy stuff, looney tunes. Proud of you & congratulations. The world is your oyster (as old people say) – aka “there’s no stopping all you will accomplish”
a rousing good time @ ROSA’s on Mother’s Day
happy 14th Ben!
You’ve entered your second year of teenage-o-rama-dama!
Say what?!?
The time probably goes slow for you, but for Grammy and me, it’s believably unbelievable that our first-born grandchild -born April 30, 2003 – is now 14 years old. How did that happen? Seriously, the years have zipped by like a panther running wild.
We’re darn proud of who you are and who you’re becoming.
A killer sense of humor. Easy going style. Smarts (congrats on making the Honor Roll). Good looks. Friendliness. Kindness. Strong values. All these remarkable attributes will add up, join forces and give you a competitive edge as you push through your teenage years and become a young man. You’re the real deal and a great life is unfolding.
Push, try, care and always believe in yourself, that makes everything possible. Don’t EVER compare yourself to anyone else… no one else is like you, what makes you tick is what makes you special.
love you Ben, happy birthday!
Happy Easter 2017
a hard pill to swallow
After a yummy Sunday night Grammy meal, Emma got out Monopoly (from my newly cleaned basement) and away we went. Your Mom joined us (she took this picture). Some people don’t like board games (Grammy). Others will play but don’t have a lot of patience. I showed you how to play a quicker version (A) shuffle the property cards and hand them out to each player at the beginning and (B) allow players to make property trading deals any time during their turn. Despite a much faster pace, some people (your Dad & Mom) got tired of it. I went to the bathroom and when I got back, Monopoly was packed up and put away… with no winner! What!? I tell you, that was a hard pill to swallow for a board game junkie like me. A shame, a real shame, there’s gotta be a winner, ha!
March Margaritas Madness!
of legendary Patriots and amazing Dads

Patriots win their fifth Super Bowl!! how awesome was that? we were all together at Uncle Tim’s house… they were getting killed at halftime, winning 21-3. I kept saying “they’re going to make a comeback! it’ll be the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history!!” everybody looked at me like I was wacky! Well they did it, playing an incredible fourth quarter, beating the Atlanta Falcons 31-28. Grammy and I bought this t-shirt for you to commemorate the big event!

Your Dad had achilles surgery in October and couldn’t walk for months, and then was on crutches. Despite hobbling about in pain, he worked on your new bedroom whenever he could… and months later finished the job. Amazing. You’re lucky to have a Dad like that. Your new room looks great; you are very happy!!
